As a daughter of immigrant parents, I painfully watched my father exhaust himself by working 2 jobs just to provide for his family.  I couldn’t understand why making money was so hard for him, yet easy for others.  Was he doing something wrong? Was there something others knew that he didn’t? Was it due to education, race, luck? Wanting to understand these disparities began my incessant quest to understand money. 

I went on to be the first woman in my family to graduate college and self fund my education. I held successful careers at Fortune 500 companies and even got a Masters in Business administration from the University of Massachusetts, but somehow I found myself a single mother living the same scarcity pattern I lived as a child.  This frustration led me to delve deep into the psychology of money.  I discovered that subconscious belief systems and old thought patterns around money were holding me back. 

I began seeing this same pattern in hundreds of the clients I worked with.  I witnessed people inherit millions and lose it within a few years, make fear-based decisions with money that sabotaged their success, have to move in with their parents because they failed to plan, and the list goes on.  This made me realize that people have a financial thermostat that can hold them back in building wealth and in overall success!  I began studying how to overcome self-defeating thought patterns and generational traumas to help my clients thrive in the long term.

I am now one of the only licensed financial advisors to bring behavioral finance, wealth management, and financial planning into one process with the goal of creating more first generation millionaires in this world.
